Citizens Medical Center, Inc. (CMCI) is the largest healthcare organization in northwest Kansas. Under the direction of the Manager of Outpatient/ Specialty Clinic, serves as clinic nurse for Outpatient/Specialty Clinic and assists in Outpatient Services.
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, tableware, pots/pans, utensils, etc. through operation of the dish machine.
MA - Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting by obtaining vitals and preparing the patient for the provider exam, performing CLIA waived labs, performing diagnostic testing and administering injections and immunizations. The Medical Assistant also coordinates care with other health care providers, communicates with patients in regards to prescription refills, the facilitation of on-going care and the coordination of care, and in regards to the reporting of lab and diagnostic results. The Medical Assistant is also responsible for tracking lab and diagnostic results, filling out appropriate forms associated with the patient visit, filling out paperwork for insurance companies, other health care providers and other organizations.
