The Department of Human Resources supports CMCI's mission by fostering a work environment based on integrity and
objectivity.
Our role in the organization is to attract quality employees and enable them to develop to their full potential.
The HR Department serves the organization by developing and implementing policies and procedures which:
- Attract and retain quality employees
- Endorse effective management practices
- Promote fair and impartial treatment of employees
- Nurture a healthy, secure and productive work environment
- Comply with all applicable legislation
The HR Department provides information, consultation, and support to applicants and employees regarding employment,
compensation, training, and policy issues. The department aids the organizational culture by promoting teamwork,
professionalism, responsiveness, and sensitivity. It is this integrity that facilitates a cooperative network between
Citizens Medical Center,Inc. and the communities of Northwest Kansas.

HOLIDAY PAY |
Employees scheduled to work a holiday will be paid time and one half for hours worked within the
recognized holiday.
Holidays recognized by CMCI: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving
Day and Christmas Day.

0-5 years - 8% of hours paid to maximum 240 hours (6 weeks)
5-10 years - 10% of hours paid to maximum 300 hours (7.5 weeks)
10+ years - 12% of hours paid to maximum 360 hours (9 weeks) |
After 6 months. Employees who have worked less than 6 months may use PTO on recognized
holidays only.
