Andy Rose, P.A.-C

Andy received his undergraduate degree from Utah State University and his Master’s from Brigham Young University. He received his Physician Assistant Certification from St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO.

Interacting with people is his favorite part of practicing medicine, “I love the one-on-one time. People are amazing. There’s always something new and interesting in every visit,” Andy said. Andy is committed to family practice and serving patients of all ages. Focusing on the individual and working with the family as a whole are important to him. In the end he told us, “I like the ‘family’ part of family medicine. I enjoy working with a range of ages and seeing everyone grow and change throughout life.”

When asked what aspects of family practice he finds most satisfying he told us, “I love the challenge of medicine. It is always changing and there is always more to learn. I could never be bored!”

Andy and his family came to Colby in 2005 and have come to call it home. Rural America is where Andy was raised and has chosen to practice. “I was raised on the family dairy farm in northern Utah with 7 boys, 3 girls, and 30 cows! My family is very important to me. I enjoy them and appreciate their support.” Andy and his wife Katie have five children: Jake, Brady, Garrett, Jud, and Abby. Andy enjoys woodworking, yard work, Boy Scouts, and church service in his spare time.
